Dalziel Services have established the various departments required for the company to operate efficiently and to provide the service clients expect to the timescales they require.

Estimating
We have a dedicated estimating department using fully computerised estimating software which allows costs to be prepared swiftly and adjustments to be made instantly. In the current climate of tight programmes and reduced estimating times this allows us to adapt and successfully meet these deadlines.

Buying
Our dedicated buying staff ensure that the best possible price is obtained while still maintaining delivery times in line with the project programme. This allows us a more competitive edge when pricing and ultimately provides better value for money to the end client.

Surveying
Our team of surveyors ensure that the project costs are kept within the clients budget with monthly valuations and close regular monitoring of labour budgets.
We can also provide pre-contract costings and negotiate GMP’s passing on the cost risks from the client to us. In this instance the agreed cost is maintained with no daywork or claims liability systems used.

Design & Build
We are active in pursuing Design & Build projects and combine the use of in house design and well established external consultants. With our design experience in house we can also offer clients value for money by value engineering traditional projects where appropriate.
